Recent photo but this really reminded me of a different time when things were slower than they are now. I remember visiting these farms when I was younger and riding horses with my friends. It was so different in that when you went out there were no cell phones and we could be gone for hours. Now my computer, my cell/palm phone, they follow me everywhere.
Not all bad really as I can communicate with my son in Alaska and my mom daily if I choose. There is always a trade off isn't there.
But right now in the middle of winter my heart craves a day out riding and enjoying the moment.

Some times it really is good to 'unplug' for awhile. Nice photo Barb.
I think it's good to also remember to slow down in the midst of this hectic thing we call life these days. I think I'm lucky to have grown up when everything wasn't all that busy yet... Gives me perspective somehow.
